Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) The institute constitutes one of the largest aggregates of human molecular genetics and biology research capacity in the UK with more than 70 principal investigators, 500 staff and 100 PhD students. Usher Institute Conducting transformative research that impacts upon healthcare, the Usher Institute improves the health and wellbeing of patients, communities and populations locally and globally. Edinburgh Neuroscience Integrating basic and clinical research, Edinburgh Neuroscience advances understanding, diagnostics and therapeutics of diseases of the nervous system. The Roslin Institute The Roslin Institute focuses on animal sciences and their application in veterinary and human medicine. Institute for Regeneration and Repair A world class research institute, the Institute for Regeneration and Repair is home to over 500 scientists and clinicians studying tissue regeneration and repair to advance human health.
