You can connect your iD with your professional information—affiliations, grants, publications, peer review, and more. You can use your ORCID to share your information with other systems, ensuring you get recognition for all your contributions, saving you time and hassle, and reducing the risk of errors.

Register for an ORCID ID

Many research funders now require or recommend the use of ORCID iDs, and systems like Researchfish and Je-S also have ORCID capabilities. 

We encourage all researchers to register for an ORCID ID and to use it whenever you publish. You may also wish to connect it with your Pure profile to enable exporting publication records from Pure to ORCID.
